These cupcakes are a favorite of our grandpa. They are spice cake with a pineapple filling and chocolate frosting. It sounds weird but it is truly delicious! His mom would make them when he was a kid and he asked us to make them for his birthday one year and we were really excited when he told us that they tasted like his mothers.
We used white sprinkles to make the cupcakes look super cute.
In this picture we used white chocolate to decorate these cupcakes. In order to get the white chocolate into these shapes we melted it then poured it into cookie cutters that we placed on wax paper. Then we just waited for the chocolate to harden and popped them out of the cookie cutters. It is a really cute and simple way to make shaped chocolate!
